this webring is dedicated to developers whose game engine of choice is the godot engine, a lightweight free and open-source game engine targeting pcs, mobile devices, vr headseats, and consoles (in an unofficial capacity). examples of games made using the godot engine include slay the spire 2, webfishing, and buckshot roulette.
godotring welcomes godot users of all backgrounds and skillsets, so long as they both have a website and follow the rules set out below.
THE RULES
- don't submit sites made using website builders such as carrd or strawpage. your site must be made using raw html
- your site must have a sufficient amount of content inside it (it doesn't neccessarily have to be gamedev focused but it is recommended)
- don't submit sites made in part or entirely using ai. we prefer human-made talent around here
- don't promote hate towards any minority groups on your site
- please include content warnings on your site if it contains nsfw content
- don't have any illegal stuff on your site (duh)
SUBMITTING YOUR SITE
send me an email. include "godotring" in your subject line and in the body include:
- your website's name
- your site's url
- a short description of your site
- at least one project you have made (either as a solo developer or as a collaborator) using godot
- a link to your 88x31 button, if you have one. your button will be hotlinked by default. if you prefer not to have your button hotlinked please state as such in your email
- your site's maturity / age demographic
after submitting your site, you can then grab a widget from the widgets page and add it to your site. ensure where you place your widget is easily accessible and visible. you'll get an email response from me after your site has been reviewed. please be patient with the review process as i am only one person and i may not be able to review your site immediately
